1.
What equipment do you shoot with? I use
Canon professional equipment. I shoot with two cameras with
two different focal length lenses and a third as a back
up.
2. Do you offer wedding packages?
I offer a base package and from that you can add
on more time, an album, more prints, or a story book.
3. What's your shooting style?
It depends on what the couple wants with respect
to style. I normally mix it up with traditional, artistic,
and journalistic styles.
4. Will you travel outside
of the Hampton Roads area? Yes. However, there
is a $1.00 per mile fee if I have to travel beyond 40 miles.
5. Do you do destination
weddings? Yes. However, the wedding couple is responsible
for all expenses to and from their wedding location 30 days
prior to the wedding date (i.e. hotel, travel expenses,
and in some instances a rental vehicle). I do require 4
months advance bookings for destination weddings.
6. Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover
credit/debit cards.
7. Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes. I will not shoot a wedding/event/fashion show without
a signed contract.
8. How much money do I have
to have up front? There is a $200 retainer fee
to reserve your date.
9. When do I have to have
the rest of the money? Two weeks prior to your
wedding date.
10. After I pay the retainer,
can I pay a little each month? Yes, absolutely.
You can make payments through my 'Online Payment Center'
each month if you so desire. It's a little less stressful
for the couple to pay a little each month so they won't
have to have a huge payment two weeks prior to their wedding
date.
11. How long does it take
to see our wedding photos online? Usually, it takes
approximately 15 business days. However, in some instances,
it takes less time.
12. Can my guests buy our
wedding photos? Yes, they can purchase photos through
your 'Online Photo Gallery'.
13. Can I have another professional/amateur
photographer shoot my wedding with you? No. This
is never a good practice because there will always be a
conflict.
14. Do you personally edit
my photos? No. I have a professional company that
specializes in this field and they do an outstanding job.
15. Do you come to my wedding
rehearsal and if so, how much do you charge? I
will come to your wedding rehearsal FREE because it gives
me a chance to meet the entire wedding party and everyone
involved. This is standard practice with me.
16. Do you photograph the
wedding rehearsal? I usually don't but if the couple
wants me too, I will at no additional charge.
17. Do you take wedding/event/fashion
assignments from other companies? Yes, but I do
have certain conditions on accepting assigments from other
companies.
18. What is the lowest price
you will accept to photograph a wedding? My starting
base is $750 but I have been known to accept certain types
of weddings for much lower rates but it's on a case by case
basis.
19. Do you have insurance?
Yes, absolutey!!
20. Do you print your own
photos? No. I have a professional lab in Richmond,
Virginia that prints all the photos.
21. How long does it take
to get my wedding album? It usually takes approximately
30 days from the time you select the photos for the album
and you approve the design layout.
22. Can I give you a list
of photos that I want you to take? Yes, absolutely!!
I encourage all couples to be part of this process. Sometimes,
couples see other photos of a wedding and want the same
for their wedding.
23. How many pictures will
I get? It depends on the length of your coverage
and the activity of your wedding, such as, a DJ, dancing,
length of coverage, etc. I can assure you that I will document
your wedding with as many photos as possible.
24. How do you select the
photos to put online? I go through the photos and
put the best photos online for you to view. If there are
duplicate shots of the same thing, I choose the best one
and disregard the others.
25. How many photographers
do I get at my wedding? It depends on your wedding
coverage that you selected. If you didn't select another
photographer, I will be the only photographer with one assistant.
